About the Photographer

As a transplant from New England to the country's heartland, I have been captivated by the subtle and stunning beauty of the landscapes and gardens of the American Midwest. I focus my camera primarily on Central Iowa.

Water Works Park in Des Moines is of particular interest to me. Some of the thousands of photographs I've taken of the park over the past few years are featured here in the Water Works Park Gallery. You can see  more of them on my photo journal site the Water Works Park Project.

Downtown Des Moines, Gray's Lake Park, the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, my own neighborhood and the spectacular Iowa countryside are also favorite subjects of mine, along with anything else that catches my fancy.

I hope you enjoy what you see. It's a privilege to be able to share my photos with you.
